SoulMama in St Kilda Baths complicated, Jacka side highway. thinking the element length, the foodstuff are low-priced. The view is astonishing. it rather is a vegetarian eating place yet there is extremely some form and that they sometimes serve veggie dishes that heavily resemble their meat opposite numbers. SoulMama has a buffet association, serving Italian and Asian inspired foodstuff. it is extremely atmospheric and classy and set ideal on the sea coast. fantastically stated for a undeniable social amassing.

Used to be SubTerrain in Nth Fitzroy, that was the best place EVER but it closed so I guess that's not much help. There are a bunch of places on Smith Street that are nice. Friends of the Earth is always good for a cheap meal.

You have to go to Shakahari in Faraday St, Carlton. The food is sublime (and Im not a vegie) - also specialise in vegan. Try the tofu version of creme brulee - it's to die for!! Balinese type of atmosphere with nice decor - pretty reasonably priced and vege-good..pardon the pun!!
